Spicy chicken wings

“The best way to eat these is with your fingers, of course,” says Dirk Lourens.

500 g chicken wings MARINADE 250ml(1c)hotwater 200 ml chutney

100 ml Worcesters­hire sauce

45 ml (3 T) tomato

sauce

20 ml (4 t) oil

15 ml (1 T) prepared

mustard

2 sachets (79 g)

crushed chillies salt

50 ml white vinegar steak and chops spice

1 Put the chicken wings in a glass dish.

2 Marinade Mix the ingredient­s and rub over the chicken wings. Marinate for 1 hour.

3 Place the wings in a folding braai grid. Braai over moderate coals, brushing often with the marinade and turning the grid until the wings are cooked.
