Mealies with flavoured butter
1 SERVES 1 Preparation 5 min Cooking 30 min
1 mealie in the husk per person flavoured butter of your choice
(recipes on pages 15 and 70)
1 Pull back the husks of the mealie, rub the kernels with flavoured butter, cover with the husks again and tie in place. Wrap in foil if not in husks.
2 Position close to moderate coals for about 30 minutes or until done.
