Baked stuffed ap­ples

4 ap­ples, cored but not peeled but­ter


125 ml (½ c) raisins half packet (100 g) gin­ger bis­cuits,

crum­bled golden syrup cus­tard to serve 1 Ap­ples Rub but­ter onto the out­side of the ap­ples. Place each ap­ple on a large sheet of alu­minium foil.

2 Fill­ing Mix the raisins and gin­ger bis­cuit crumbs to­gether and stuff into the hol­lowed-out core. Pour a lit­tle golden syrup over each ap­ple. 3 Wrap each ap­ple in the sheet of foil and place over mod­er­ate coals. Bake for about 30 min­utes un­til the ap­ples are soft.

4 Serve the warm ap­ples with cus­tard.
