Baked stuffed apples
APPLES
4 apples, cored but not peeled butter
FILLING
125 ml (½ c) raisins half packet (100 g) ginger biscuits,
crumbled golden syrup custard to serve 1 Apples Rub butter onto the outside of the apples. Place each apple on a large sheet of aluminium foil.
2 Filling Mix the raisins and ginger biscuit crumbs together and stuff into the hollowed-out core. Pour a little golden syrup over each apple. 3 Wrap each apple in the sheet of foil and place over moderate coals. Bake for about 30 minutes until the apples are soft.
4 Serve the warm apples with custard.
