Rump ke­babs

60 ml (¼ c) olive oil 5-6 gar­lic cloves,

crushed sea salt and freshly

ground pep­per 250 ml (1 c)

Guin­ness beer 500 g rump steak, cut into bite-size cubes a few bay or le­mon

twigs

1 Mix the oil, gar­lic, salt, pep­per and beer, pour over the meat and mar­i­nate for 1-2 hours.

2 Clean the bay or le­mon twigs, leav­ing a few leaves at the top. Thread a few cubes of meat onto each twig.

3 Braai over hot coals for 8-10 min­utes, turn­ing con­tin­u­ously un­til cooked to your lik­ing.
