Why do you love braaiing?

I love the social aspect of a braai, people catching up and having a good time. People are happiest when they’re being fed well, and chilling out with a nice drink.

I don’t like standing in front of the fire myself, but I contribute my secret-ingredient potato salad.

What are your must-haves at a braai?

Lamb chops and braai sandwiches with cheese. And a good whisky!
