WHO CAN APPLY South African citizens who are second- or third-year undergraduate and postgraduate students at a South African institute of higher learning, with an average of 65% or higher for all subjects.
WHAT’S COVERED Tuition, study material, books, a monthly stipend, accommodation and meals for on-campus candidates or an allowance for offcampus candidates, for one academic year.

NETFLIX SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
This scholarship provides financial assistance to postgraduate students studying film and TV.
WHO CAN APPLY Black, coloured and Indian South African students doing one-year postgraduate study related to film, television and/or audiovisual at selected tertiary institutes.
Applicants must have an undergraduate academic average of at least 60%. Students who have another bursary don’t qualify.
WHAT’S COVERED Tuition, accommodation, study material and a living allowance for the academic year.

GAUTENG FILM COMMISSION
The GFC is an agency of the Gauteng provincial government which develops, promotes and coordinates the film and TV industry in the province.
WHO CAN APPLY South African citizens who live in Gauteng, are aged between 18 and 30 and are registered for undergraduate or postgraduate studies related to film and TV,, including administration, animation, marketing, project management and public relations.
Applicants must be in financial need.
