Ed makes sick fan’s day

Singer ED SHEERAN (26) has once again showed he’s one of the nicest guys in music. The Shape Of You hitmaker recently gave a private concert to a seriously ill 10-year-old at London’s O2 Arena. Turns out it wasn’t the first time he’d sung to super-fan MELODY DRISCOLL, who suffers from Rett syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development, resulting in severe mental and physical disability. The two-time Grammy winner visited her in hospital in Surrey, England, last November and since then the two have struck up a firm bond.

Melody, who’s described as a “living miracle” by her mom, Karina, was treated to her four favourite songs. “They sat together and played together and she just looked lovingly at him the whole time. They have a mutual love for each other.” The girl was over the moon when her idol wrote “I love you” on her cast and signed his name on her wheelchair before letting her have her pick of his tour merchandise.
