Despite the problems in our country I’m proud to be part of this compassionate nation.

So I urge you all to allow Henri van Breda (YOU, 7 June) to serve his sentence

in silence – not for his sake but for that of his sister, Marli.

She can never escape the tragedy of what her evil brother subjected her to, but we can make it easier by showing her that compassion. She deserves the chance to pick up the pieces of her life. COMPASSIONATE, SMS
