THIS year singer TAYLOR SWIFT’s Independence Day celebration was a far cry from the star-studded Fourth of July parties she’s hosted in the past. This was the second year in a row that her home in Rhode Island – which has been visited by some of Hollywood’s biggest names – was empty on America’s birthday, as the Ready for It hitmaker also skipped the fireworks and revelry last year.

Instead, the 28-year-old took a muchneeded break from her Reputation tour with her boyfriend, British actor JOE ALWYN (27), and spent a few idyllic days on the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.

Sources say things between the pair are getting serious and Taylor is considering putting down roots in North London, close to where Joe lives.

“Taylor loves the UK and how she can live a relatively normal life without being disturbed,” the source said.

An insider claims the singer is lying low after having been dragged into public spats with other celebs such as Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian, and being accused of faking her 2016 romance with British actor Tom Hiddleston (now 37).

But although Taytay forewent the celebfilled parties, she still showed her patriotism in a red, blue, and white striped bikini. That’s the spirit!
