Portugal’s defender could give Neymar a run for his money when it comes to antics: he had theatrical skills of his own during his side’s group-stage match against Morocco.

All it took was two taps on the shoulder from Moroccan defender Medhi Benatia to send Pepe collapsing on the grass, screaming foul play. His performance didn’t earn him a penalty – just plenty of backlash.

“He must be embarrassed when he sees himself on TV behaving like that,” former England player Rio Ferdinand said. “He must be embarrassed for his kids to see that.”
