Trouble sleeping? Have a kiwi. Researcher­s at Taiwan’s Taipei Medical University studied the effects of kiwi consumptio­n on sleepdepri­ved volunteers and found eating the fruit daily was linked to substantia­l improvemen­ts to both sleep quality and quantity.

The study involved 22 women and two men between the ages of 20 and 55. After a month-long trial during which the participan­ts consumed kiwis every day they fell asleep faster and slept more soundly.
