Trouble sleeping? Have a kiwi. Researchers at Taiwan’s Taipei Medical University studied the effects of kiwi consumption on sleepdeprived volunteers and found eating the fruit daily was linked to substantial improvements to both sleep quality and quantity.
The study involved 22 women and two men between the ages of 20 and 55. After a month-long trial during which the participants consumed kiwis every day they fell asleep faster and slept more soundly.
