HE’S had more than a few flings and on- and- off romances aplenty, but the Beliebers didn’t really have anything to fear – until Hailey Baldwin sashayed into Justin Bieber’s life. You could almost hear the sound of teenage hearts breaking around the world when the Biebs confirmed he was settling down with “the love of his life”.
He may be just 24 – and his bride-to-be only 21 – but the lovers seem convinced they’re ready to pledge eternal love.
“So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you, loving you patiently and kindly,” the Friends crooner gushed in a lengthy Instagram post. “We’re gonna be better at 70, baby!”
But just who is this lithe blonde who’s captured the Biebs’ heart?
THE FAMOUS FAM
As part of the Baldwin family Hailey knows all about growing up in the spotlight.
Her dad is actor and reality TV star Stephen Baldwin (52), who’s appeared in movies such as The Usual Suspects and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas.
He’s also famous for being the little brother of Alec Baldwin (60), who’s starred in more than 50 movies and became a comic sensation with his skits of Donald Trump.
Alec and Stephen aren’t the only actors in the family: brothers Daniel (57) and William (55) have also made their way in Tinseltown.
The Baldwin brothers have produced a plethora of progeny. Golden Globe winner Alec has a daughter, Ireland (22) – who’s a model – with his ex-wife, actress Kim Basinger, as well as four young kids – Carmen (4), Rafael (3), Leo (1) and Romeo (one month) – with current wife, yoga instructor Hilaria (34).
Second-eldest brother Daniel (57), an actor and director, has five kids – daughter Kahlea (34) from his marriage to first wife, Cheryl Baldwin; Alexandra (24) with Legend of the Seeker actress Elizabeth Baldwin;
Atticus (22) with his Homicide co-star Isabella Hoffman (59); and Avis (10) and Finley (9) with now ex-wife Joanne Smith.
The younger brothers have more stable private lives. William, who’s appeared in Dirty Sexy Money, has been married to Chynna Phillips since 1995. He and the songstress have two daughters, Jameson (18) and Brooke (13), and son Vance (15).
Hailey’s dad Stephen and her mom, Brazilian graphic designer Kennya, have been married for a solid 28 years. They have another daughter, 25-year-old Alaia, also a model.
There are loads of demons in the Baldwin brothers’ pasts. Alec has come clean about being a drug abuser and Stephen previously battled alcohol and drugs, Huff Post reports.
William and Chynna have both spoken out about their recovery post addiction. And Daniel has been arrested several times for drug possession and some bizarre behaviour.
