MEGHAN’S POSSE

-

As this was the Sussexes’ first big tour their entourage consisted of at least 10 people to help with day-to-day tasks, from hairstyling to communication. Their private secretary, Australian Samantha Cohen, accompanied the pair along with private secretary Amy Pickerill, an orderly, a personal photographer, a Kensington Palace assistant, three communications officers and a programme coordinator. and Meghan on their tour of Ireland in July.

George, who has a salon in the upmarket London area of Fitzrovia, counts the likes of Oscar-winning actresses Kate Winslet and Alicia Vikander among his clients and charges a staggering £780 (R14 430) for a cut and blow-dry.

Meghan has George to thank for perfecting her trademark messy bun. “George is likeable, cool and his signature look, which is slightly messy and a little undone, is perfect for her,” a former colleague told US People magazine.

HEAD OF SECURITY

The no-nonsense-looking blonde in heels seen for the first time with the Sussexes on their tour is their new head of protection.

The cop, who can’t be named for security reasons, has been working with the couple for several months, replacing Harry’s longstanding head of security, Sergeant Bill Renshaw, who retired after more than 30 years on the force.

During the tour she oversaw the huge police operation that surrounds the couple and was seen escorting Meghan during a security scare.
