ME AND MY GIRL!

IONCE thought it wouldn’t be easy for a father to build a strong relationship with his child. That was until 16 August 2014 when my baby girl was born. started bonding with her from the day she came home from the hospital. It was only me and her mom and I told myself I wasn’t going to let her mom do it all on her own because she’d gone through hell during her pregnancy. There was nothing I could do about that, but I knew the time would come when I could play a role.

I made sure I performed every duty traditionally done by women: preparing bottles and feeding. I even had skin contact in order to build a strong bond with her.

Today we’re a great team and I hope no one will ever come between us. It isn’t too late for any father to do the same. That father is you and now’s the time to start. LETLADI WA GA-MPHAHLELE, MARALALENG
