After months of shooting down rumours, singer SHAWN MENDES (20) has admitted he dated American model HAILEY BALDWIN (22) – kind of. He recently told Rolling Stone magazine they were romantically involved right before Hailey got back together with Shawn’s fellow Canadian crooner JUSTIN BIEBER (24), whom she married in September. “I don’t even wanna put a title on it,” Shawn said. “I think it was more of a zone of limbo.” But the In My Blood singer doesn’t harbour any bitterness about the way things went down. “I get it, you know,” he says of Hailey’s decision to reunite and commit to Justin so quickly. “I texted Hailey, ‘Congratulations,’ [when they got engaged] and I really am happy for them. She’s still one of the f**king coolest people ever – she’s not just a beautiful person visually but she’s one of the most beautiful hearts I’ve ever met.” Aaww.
