My seven-year-old grand­son and I were play­ing I Spy with a bit of dif­fi­culty as he’s still learn­ing his phon­ics. He had me stumped sev­eral times with F for phone and photo, and N for knee, but had me give up in des­per­a­tion with the let­ter B.

He couldn’t un­der­stand why I burst out laugh­ing when he tri­umphantly said “Ouma, it’s B for bust­bin!” I’d for­got­ten that he called a dust­bin a bust­bin and he was most in­dig­nant at my laugh­ter. SILLY OUMA!, EMAIL
