DESERT PEOPLE
Even though deserts are inhospitable, there are people who live and survive there. These people are mostly nomads who have to move around in search of water and food.
Desert inhabitants are faced with serious dangers, including animal predators and sandstorms.
These intrepid groups include the Berbers of North Africa, the Bedouin of the Arabian Desert, the San in the Kalahari and the Aborigines in Australia. They’re knowledgeable about desert plants and know where to find water. They’re also skilled hunters.
