First film: The Crab with the Golden Claws, a Belgian stop-motion production. First TV show: Hergé’s Adventures of Tintin, a Belgian animated series.
1961
First live-action film: Tintin and the Mystery of the Golden Fleece, a French production.
1986
Final comic book: Tintin and Alph-Art. A collection of Hergé’s incomplete sketches and last story outline.
2011
First 3D film: The Adventures of Tintin. It was Oscar-nominated for best score and Baftanominated for best animated film.
