IT’S TIME to crack open the dictionary and start searching for unique baby names, because KANYE WEST and KIM KARDASHIAN are expecting their fourth child. “The surrogate is well into the pregnancy,” an insider says. “Kim and Kanye have known for a while and are very excited. They had one male embryo left and are thrilled it’s worked out.”

Kim has previously revealed that although Kanye (41) is keen on having seven kids her dream is to stop at four, telling E! News last year, “I don’t think I could handle more than that.”

According to reports, the couple are using a different surrogate to the one who carried their daughter Chicago, who was born in January last year, because the woman gave birth to a baby of her own on Christmas Eve. Instead, they apparently found a new surrogate to carry their last fertilised embryo and their son is reportedly due in May.

Although her first two pregnancies resulted in healthy babies – North (5) and Saint (3) – Kim suffered from health issues, including preeclampsia (which causes high blood pressure) and placenta accreta (where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall).

The 38-year-old has said that although initially apprehensive she was “surprised” by how much she enjoyed the surrogacy process when Chicago was on the way.

“The control is hard at the beginning. Once you let that go, it’s the best experience. I’d recommend surrogacy for anybody. I’ll say, when it came time to breastfeed, I was like, “Okay, this is the best decision I ever made. It’s a game changer, not having to go through [breastfeeding] every few hours. I can spend so much more time with the older kids and getting them used to the baby.”
