AS 50TH birthday bashes go, this was up there with the best of them. Actress JENNIFER ANISTON laid on the glitz and glam when she recently celebrated her milestone in style at the Sunset Tower hotel in West Hollywood. The Dumplin’ star was smoking hot in a strappy black jumpsuit, tossing her trademark glossy mane and generally looking a whole lot younger than her five decades. And the guest list was a paparazzo’s dream: an A-list array of famous faces that included actor George Clooney and his human rights lawyer wife, Amal, talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres, actresses Kate Hudson and Reese Witherspoon, and singer Barbra Streisand. Even Jen’s ex-husband, actor BRAD PITT, pitched up, looking suave in a flat cap. Brad (55) wasn’t the only former flame in attendance. Singer John Mayer (41), from whom Jen split in 2009, was also among the 200 guests, as were his ex Katy Perry and her boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom. Brad’s ex-fiancée Gwyneth Paltrow was on the guest list too.
There was no sign of Jen’s estranged husband, actor Justin Theroux (47), from whom she split in 2017. But Jen’s dad, Days of Our Lives actor John Aniston (85), was there to celebrate with his only daughter.
Turns out it was quite the party. Guests dined and danced and drank the night away.
The loved-up Clooneys left holding hands while poor Reese, with whom Jen is starring in an upcoming untitled TV show, took a nasty tumble down a flight of stairs. Fortunately a hotel worker was on hand to help the Big Little Lies star make her way safely to a waiting chauffeur-driven car.
Jen, whose birthday was on 11 February, looked deliriously happy surrounded by her gal pals, who tucked into mini burgers and tacos and enjoyed a multilayered vanilla cake served with cream and berries.
The night couldn’t have been more perfect, an unnamed guest said. “Jen looked so happy. She was glowing. The food was fantastic and everyone was dancing. It was just the best party.”
