Hayden’s family woes
SHE received much praise for being open about the postpartum depression she endured after giving birth to daughter KAYA – but now it seems actress HAYDEN PANETTIERE rarely gets to see her child. Kaya (now 4) lives more than 9 000km away from her American mom – and Hayden’s new boyfriend could be the reason. Instead of splitting time between her parents, the little girl lives in Ukraine with her dad, heavyweight boxing champion WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO.
Hayden (29) and Wladimir (42) broke off their engagement last year after nearly a decade together.
The Nashville star believes her daughter is better off living with Wladimir, according to a source.
“She knows the child being with her isn’t best for Kaya right now,” the insider told US Weekly. “It’s a sad situation.”
The “sad situation” could be because of BRIAN HICKERSON (28), Hayden’s beau, who works in real estate but is pursuing an acting career. Hayden’s family and Wladimir are reportedly unhappy about the romance.
“It’s not a healthy situation,” another source says.
The couple found themselves on the wrong side of the law late last year after police were called to handle an assault and battery issue between Brian and his father, David.
But Brian quickly shot down claims his girlfriend’s family were concerned about her.
“Just to be clear, Hayden’s friends and family aren’t worried about her at all,” he said after the incident.
