‘Setting your location allows you to track your order’

LOCKDOWN life has left many of us changing our shopping habits in order to self-isolate and maintain social distancing. We take a look at the larger retail online options for you.

PICK N PAY

HOW IT WORKS Order via pnp.co.za or the Pick n Pay app, or use the delivery app Bottles for grocery essentials*. You can book slots for the morning or afternoon on the main website, usually for delivery between three and five days, whereas the grocery essentials service is for same-day delivery – you get it 90 minutes later. For the main service, you need to register on the website, book a slot, fill your trolley and then check out your goods. You can also link your Smart Shopper card if you have one.

You must have the Bottles app to use the same-day service.

Setting your location allows you to shop and track your order. COSTS Pnp.co.za deliveries are R60; deliveries via Bottles are R50.

You can pay using your debit or credit card. WHAT TO BUY Anything you’d buy in a Pick n Pay store is available on pnp.co.za except clothing. Via Bottles you can choose from some 3 500 products ranging from fresh produce to toiletries and pet supplies. RETURNS POLICY You can send back an item with the driver and get a refund or you have 10 business days to return it to the store yourself.
