CHANNELLING SHIRLEY

I had to chuckle at the letter sent in by Peter Bachtis describing him chatting to the wall (YOU Say, 28 May).

I live alone, so you can imagine what this lockdown is doing to all us loners, but the reason why I chuckled is because it reminded me so much of that British movie Shirley Valentine. She too had long conversations with the wall!
