A MAMMOTH DISCOVERY
Archaeologists have found the bones of about 60 woolly mammoths on a building site north of Mexico City.
They say there are so many bones it will be impossible to dig up all of them. The discovery was made when construction started on converting a disused military air base into a commercial airport.
Millions of years ago, this was the site of a large wetland and scientists believe the grass and reeds in the wetland would’ve attracted the mammoths.
