VIEW ART FROM THE LOUVRE FOR FREE
The world’s most-visited museum in Paris, the Louvre has put its famous artwork collections online for all art lovers to enjoy – for free!
The museum, which houses the famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci, has placed 480 000 pieces of art on show for people across the globe to enjoy.
Lockdowns and travel restrictions resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic have meant fewer tourists and art lovers have been able to access the Louvre’s beautiful collections.
On the website you can view paintings, sculptures and antiquities (special historical objects) that are on display in the museum.
