KIM’S COOL KICKS

When it comes to celebrity sneakerheads KIM JAYDE is right at the top of the list. The TV personality has a massive collection of kicks – 120 to be exact.

Kim (30) has been collecting sneakers for the past seven years. Her designer collection is money lying at her feet, she says.

She keeps her coveted limited-edition kicks covered and protected in their original packaging as this increases the resale value.

The Zimbabwe-born model – who also runs her own production company – recently bought a pair of Nike Dunk High x Ambush for R3 000 to add to her collection.

The resale value of the high-end sneakers is around R52 000, she says. Kim admits it’s a pretty expensive addiction, “so when I import I make sure it’s super-valuable and won’t buy anything for the rest of the month”, she says.
