NO PLAIN JANE

At 70, (Have You Heard, 25 March), Jane Seymour has every reason to be inordinately proud of her youthful looks and figure. She can really give women in their 40s and 50s a serious run for their money.

My mother, who died when she was 80, had the smoothest, softest, wrinkle-free skin and could easily have been mistaken for someone in her 60s. When we were younger, people mistook us for sisters – something I experienced with my daughter and she in turn with her daughter. BEV, EMAIL
