TOO MUCH HELP

Thrown from his horse while fleeing the enemy troops, a soldier lays helpless on the ground, his leg broken. With the enemy approaching, the terrified soldier calls out, “All you saints in heaven, help me get up on my horse!”

Then, with superhuman effort, he leaps onto the horse’s back, only to go straight over the other side.

Once again lying on the ground, he again calls to the heavens: “Okay, just half of you this time!”
