Actor CRAIG URBANI loves his new role as a laid-back bar owner in popular M-Net telenovela Legacy. He describes his character as a fun guy who also plays a fatherly role to his young employees. “We’re similar in that we handle situations with a bit of laughter,” Craig says of the character.
“I’ve also worked in a bar before and he owns one, so I guess that’s another similarity,” he says.
Craig (49) is a real-life doting dad to daughter GENNA-LEIGH KALTENBRUNN (14).
“There’s no textbook when it comes to parenting and I’ve certainly made many mistakes,” he says.
“But I’ve always tried to be present, be perceptive to what she’s thinking, feeling or going through.”
Father and daughter share a love for the arts and enjoy watching movies and playing the piano.
“She’s artistic, musical and loves storytelling,” Craig says proudly.
