‘My birthday weekend was one for the books’
All she wanted was a beautiful night under the stars – and that’s exactly what former Miss South Africa NTANDO KUNENE got for her birthday.
Ntando celebrated turning 29 with a few close friends at an events venue in Gauteng. Guests were treated to canvas painting while sipping on bubbles under the stars.
If this year has taught her anything, it’s to be kinder to herself. “I want to extend grace to myself as I do with others, and realise I am allowed to retract access to my space,” the former beauty queen says.
Gorgeous, talented and with a heart of gold, she seems to have it all. But if she had just one birthday wish it would be to “build a primary school, be an advisor to the minister of basic education and win the Lotto“, Ntando says. “Okay, that’s more than one,” she giggles. With the big 3-0 fast approaching, the mom-of-one has already set some major goals for the year ahead.
“I want to build an early-childhood development centre; complete my first year of my MBA; and be the best mom I can be to my son, Oyinkosi (2).”
