ALBUM REVIEW
The 28-year-old has been through a lot – she’s been raped twice and suffered a near-fatal drug overdose in 2018. Her new album takes a grim and unfiltered look at these events.
She addresses her eating disorders on The Way You Don’t Look at Me and Melon Cake, while ICU (Madison’s Lullabye) is about her regaining consciousness from her overdose.
There are breathers in between like The Kind of Lover I Am, about her pansexuality, and Fifteen Minutes, an upbeat banger where she trounces an ex. Fans will appreciate Demi’s candour.
