BRITNEY TO BREAK HER SILENCE

-

BRITNEY SPEARS is set to lift the lid on why she filed a petition to have her father, Jamie Spears, removed as her conservator last month.

The hearing, which is scheduled for 23 June, will mark the first time in years the Grammy winner has been able to speak about the conservatorship.

Sources close to the 39-year-old, who is on a self-imposed work hiatus until her dad relinquishes control over her estate and career, reveal she’s angry with Jamie and has “virtually no interaction with him anymore”.

“A lot of this stems from her days growing up when Jamie wasn’t present in her life,” an insider says of Brit’s frustration over having to live under Jamie’s guardianship for nearly 13 years.

In December last year Jamie (68) said he and his daughter hadn’t talked in four months, and that he intended remaining at the head of the conservatorship.

“When a family member needs special care and protection, families need to step up, as I have done for the last 12plus years, to safeguard, protect and continue to love Britney unconditionally,” he said.

Meanwhile, the singer’s boyfriend, Sam Asghari (27), sparked headlines earlier this year when he called Jamie a “total d***” for trying to control their relationship.
