DANCING ROBOTS TEACH CHILDREN

Robots are being used in 300 nursery schools in Seoul, South Korea. The city’s government hopes that this will prepare the next generation for a future of advanced technology.

Each robot, called Alpha Mini, is 24,5cm tall. They can read stories, dance and sing songs with the kids. They can also blink and their pupils can go heart-shaped when in conversation because there’s a camera on the robot’s head that takes pictures that are instantly sent to a tablet for viewing.
