ALSO DARKENING HER SUN
HARRY THE BLACK HOLE
Despite murmurs of olive branches being extended, Prince Harry appears as estranged as ever from his family – and as volatile.
He fired a trajectory in January when he stated he wouldn’t return to England with his wife and kids, Archie (2) and Lilibet (8 months), unless they were given elite royal protection – a privilege he lost when he stepped down as a working royal.
Now he’s rocking the royal universe yet again with the decision to take his grandmother’s government to court over the issue.
Then there’s his bombshell memoir expected later this year. The explosive tell-all is set to “shake the monarchy to its core”, friends of the prince say.
Harry (37) has also come under fire for seemingly ignoring his stepmother, Camilla (74), by refusing to make a public announcement when it was recently announced she’d be queen consort when his father, Charles, is crowned.
“His silence speaks volumes about their frosty relationship,” a source close to Harry says.
MEGHAN THE METEORITE ON A MISSION
Harry’s wife has been rather quiet lately but she continues to make waves.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (40), is said to be carving out a path for herself in the world of US politics and is reportedly not interested in returning to England – which means the queen might never see Archie again or meet Lilibet.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s fractious relationship with the royal family is set to make headlines again in an upcoming biography by Tom Bower.
The British writer, renowned for his unsparing biographies, promises to “tell the truth” about the duchess.
“This is the book
Meghan will be dreading,” a source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “Tom doesn’t pull any punches and is terrifyingly thorough in his research. No stone will be left unturned.” Revelations include how Camilla apparently called Meghan “that minx” after her and Harry’s exit from The Firm.
