NO MORE MRS JONES
Local It couple MINNIE DLAMINI and QUINTON JONES are calling it quits. The actress and model and the producer, who married amid much fanfare in 2017, and have a one-year-old son, announced on social media they’d been separated for months and had decided to file for divorce. “Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son,” they said.
LEE IS BACK ON THE BOX
He set pulses racing on the first season of The Bachelor SA – now hunky LEE THOMPSON is back on our TV screens to work up a sweat. The reality TV star recently joined SuperSport Variety 4’s lifestyle show 5 Colour Fitness as a coach. “My love for health and fitness started at a young age. I gained a lot of knowledge over the years by playing professional rugby and working in the modelling industry,” Lee told us. “Now I can share my knowledge with the public and change people’s lives by helping them achieve their goals.”

Former supermodel LINDA EVANGELISTA is tired of being a recluse. “I can’t live like this anymore, in hiding and shame,” she says. The 56-year-old retreated from the spotlight after botched fat-freeze cosmetic surgery in 2015 left her with what she calls “a brutally disfigured body”. “I tried to fix it myself, thinking I was doing something wrong,” she says, adding that treatment called CoolSculpting left her with bulges of fat on her chin, thighs and bra area. “I hope I can shed myself of some of the shame and help other people who are in the same situation as me.”
MORE WOES FOR ALEC
The family of cinematographer HALYNA HUTCHINS have filed a wrongful death suit against ALEC BALDWIN. Halyna was shot dead by the actor on the set of the movie Rust in October last year and initially her husband was sympathetic towards the star. But during a recent press conference, where an eerie 3D recreation of the fatal shooting was shown, the Hutchins’ family lawyer claimed had it not been for Alec pulling the trigger, Halyna would still be alive. “Mr Baldwin was the person holding the weapon,” attorney Brian Panish said.
SOMETHING TO TELL US, SOPHIE?
Sure looks like there’s something going on here . . . X-Men star SOPHIE TURNER sparked pregnancy rumours after she was recently spotted out in LA with musician hubby JOE JONAS. The couple have a daughter, one-year-old Willa, and the idea of another little Jonas on the way sent fans into a frenzy. “Those pictures of Joe, Sophie and Willa though,” one tweeted. “I’m literally sobbing I’m so happy for them.”
