CELEBRITIES HAVE BEEN calledon FOR EMITTING TONS OF CARBON BY USING PRIVATE JETS FOR SHORT TRIPS

KYLIE JENNER has come under fire for taking very short flights in her private jet, earning her the ire of the internet which branded her “a climate criminal”. But she’s not the worst celeb offender. In fact, the makeup mogul’s jet landed all the way down at No 19 on the list.

According to new research, TAYLOR SWIFT is the celebrity who causes the most carbon dioxide emission by travelling in gas-guzzling private jets.

Since January the singer has flown 170 times on her private aircraft, with the shortest flight lasting just 36 minutes and the longest taking about 80 minutes. Basically, what Taylor’s plane allegedly produced in just 200 days is equivalent to almost 1 185 times the average person’s yearly carbon footprint.

The pop star has faced a fierce backlash for her excessive air travel, especially during a climate emergency.

A spokesperson for the singer tried to do damage control by saying, “Taylor’s jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals. To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect.”

But that only seemed to add fuel to the fire, with people quickly arguing that whether she was present or not was beside the point.

DISGRACED WAG Rebekah Vardy has broken her silence on the crushing verdict in the recent libel trial.

The drama began in 2019 when Coleen Rooney, wife of football legend Wayne Rooney, accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her to British tabloid The Sun.

After Coleen accused Rebekah on social media, Rebekah sued Coleen for libel but lost the case earlier this month when a judge ruled that Coleen’s allegation was “substantially true”.

Now determined to restore her tarnished reputation, Rebekah insists she’s innocent and has been “let down by the legal system”.

The wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy also says she’s twice been admitted to hospital for stress since the so-called Wagatha Christie saga began.

“I was having serious panic attacks,” Rebekah says.

“Physically, emotionally and mentally, it was exhausting. I had to go to hospital a couple of times because they were really worried about my mental wellbeing.

“And since the court case, I think I’m probably suffering with PTSD [post-traumatic stress disorder].”

But Rebekah’s high-court loss hasn’t only been detrimental to her health, it’s also hit the Vardy clan hard in the pocket, sources say.

Insiders claim they may be forced to sell their beloved Portuguese villa after the legal battle left Rebekah with a multimillion-pound legal bill. She’ll have to pay Coleen’s legal fees as well as her own, which sources say comes to between £2million and £3m (R41m and R61m).

Despite the emotional and financial drawbacks, Rebekah has “no regrets” about taking the case to court.

“I would do it all again tomorrow if I had to, because I’m innocent.”

‘I will say that ’til I’m blue in the face: I did not do it’ – REBEKAH VARDY

HOW DID YOU GUYS MEET? Boity: We met on invite-only dating app Raya. We matched and started chatting, each of us pretending we didn’t know who the other was.

We had a first date a few days after matching and we’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since, almost two years ago. YOU BOTH SEEM TO BE

BOOKED AND BUSY. HOW DO YOU MAKE TIME FOR EACH OTHER? Boity: Our structure is based on friendship and support. Because we’re in the same industry, we’re pretty much invited or booked for similar events and campaigns, so more often than not we’re together cheering each other on.

When we’re in separate cities it’s about good, constant communication and sharing our schedules so we can plan ahead for making time for each other.

WHAT IS THE PERFECT WEEKEND FOR ANTON AND B? Anton: At the moment the perfect weekend is one where we do absolutely nothing but rest, catch up on films or shows we’re into, and just recover and recuperate together.

ANNE HECHE’s peers are rooting for her following a harrowing car crash in which she suffered severe burns.

The Emmy winner remains in intensive care after the Mini Cooper she was driving crashed into a home in Los Angeles and was engulfed in flames.

The crash set part of the house on fire and the residence is now said to be “uninhabitable”. Thankfully, homeowner Lynne Mishele, who was home at the time of the crash, managed to escape unharmed.

Tributes poured in from celeb pals like Alec Baldwin, who described Anne, who once dated Ellen DeGeneres, as “an amazingly talented woman”. Actress Rosanna Arquette took to Twitter to ask for prayers for Anne, adding “this is really tragic”.

Meanwhile, Thomas Jane, who starred with the actress in Hung and later dated her in 2019 and 2020, told reporters, “While Anne and I are no longer an item, today’s tragic news was devastating to me and to all who love her.”

Hours before the crash, a new episode of Anne’s podcast, Better Together, was released but it has since been removed from the Apple podcast page.

During the podcast, Anne and her co-host, Heather Duffy, discuss drinking vodka and wine and Anne talks about having a “bad day”.

It’s unclear when the podcast was recorded.
