SEEING IN COLOUR
The Chau Chak Wing Museum in Australia has come up with a clever new way to make art accessible to visitors with disabilities.
The institution now offers colour-blind visitors special glasses that allow them to see the true hues (see Word of the Week) in paintings. People who are colourblind see colours differently than most people. The museum has partnered with American company EnChroma to provide specially designed glasses for colour-blind visitors to help them to distinguish colours they might often get wrong.
