THE KING’S WORKING DAY

-

Insiders say that although Charles’ life will be far busier, he’ll try to stick to his routine as much as possible.

He’s always at his desk by 8.45am and rarely has lunch, preferring an invigorating walk around his gardens instead. At 5pm he has a break for tea (his favourite blend is lapsang souchong) then works through his official correspondence until 8pm when he has dinner.

Two nights of the week are meat-free and two are fish-free. He often pads around in his favourite red velvet monogrammed slippers – although he might need to switch them up for more formal footwear more often now.
