ROCKS HOLD MARS’ SECRETS

Nasa recently shared that its Perseverance rover, a specialised robot that landed on Mars in February last year, has found and collected two of its most interesting rock samples. The rover, which also goes by the name Percy, has drilled rocks and stored samples for scientists to inspect once it returns to Earth. Experts believe they might be one step closer to proving that life once existed on Mars.

“It’s safe to say that these are two of the most important samples that we’ll collect on this mission,” Professor David Shuster says.
