Wakata arrived at the ISS on 6 October on the SpaceX Dragon Endurance and docked as they flew 258 miles above the west coast of Africa.
The new arrivals join the Expedition 68 crew of Nasa astronauts Bob Hines, Kjell Lindgren, Frank Rubio, and Jessica Watkins, Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency (ESA), and other Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelin.
