LIFE’S PLEASURES
In this highly mechanised and computer-orientated existence of ours, I like to believe that we haven’t totally alienated ourselves from the natural world. Time is well spent in watching the bright rays of the morning sun slant through the clouds, lighting up a flock of airborne birds. That’s nature’s spotlight.
There’s gentle delight to be found in the sight and sound of mysteriously rustling leaves of a beech tree as they dance in the breeze. They can be compared to the tongues of gossipy old crones!
The best – and simplest – pleasures in life are free. FERN, EMAIL
