MY COWBOY DOCTOR

I had to smile at Ruthi’s comment regarding the clothing doctors are opting to wear nowadays (YOU Say, 13 October). She laments the fact that white coats are a thing of the past, but I really wish that she could meet one of our local GPs.

I don’t know if he’s suffering from a belated mid-life crisis as he’s easily in his sixties, but he now sports heavily tattooed arms, denim jeans and cowboy boots and has his grey hair tied back in a man-pony. BR, EMAIL
