Harry and Meghan have been working on a documentary as part of their $100-million (R1,82-bn) deal with Netflix and the show was apparently scheduled for release in December. But the Sussexes are having cold feet, sources say, and want to make edits “to downplay much of what they’ve said about King Charles, Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales”.

“Harry and Meghan are panicked about trying to tone down even the most basic language,” a Netflix insider told Page Six.

Bosses at the streaming giant are believed to be losing patience. “Some people believe the project may be shelved altogether,” the insiders say. “And if it is, it would affect their take-home pay.”
