We know him best as the suave leading man on screen, but when it came to proposing to his wife AMAL (44), actor GEORGE CLOONEY (61) was left fumbling. He had it all planned out – a romantic dinner, a killer playlist, her stumbling upon the ring in a kitchen drawer.

“She pulls the ring out and says, ‘There’s a ring there,’ like somebody left a ring there years earlier,” George shared on the Drew Barrymore talk show.
