NO FAN OF ANGIE’S

Reading your article on Angelina Jolie (YOU, 20 October), I’m beginning to wonder if she’s hellbent on destroying Brad Pitt and whether she’s lying. My question is why didn’t she come out with the fact that he’d hit her and pushed her and given the children a hard time when all of this allegedly happened? Why is she only saying it now?

We all know she’s not lily-white from things written in the past long before Brad was on scene yet she makes out as if she’s Mother Teresa. I think she’s nasty. He’s mended his ways so to sell half their château without telling him is despicable.

Whatever happens she needs to be aware that karma is a b***h and she needs to remember they’re also his kids. SUE, EMAIL

THERE’S ALWAYS A WAY OUT

The day I accepted the fact that I was powerless over my addiction was the day I chose to truly live life. After 15 years of on-and-off drug use (crystal meth, khat and mandrax), I’m now sober and reclaiming my life.

Drug use made everything worse. It separated me from my wife and children, and led me to suicide attempts. I was in and out of prison, involved in gangsterism, eating out of dustbins, living on the streets and suffered mental, emotional and physical breakdowns.

I’m thankful to a higher power for allowing me the grace to have a second chance at life, at being a father of two, a son, a brother, as well as be the successful musician I was born to be. If I could do it, then you can do it too. A shoutout to all those who never gave up on me, especially my faithful praying mother. To those still struggling with addiction: there’s always a way out. THERAPY HELPS

Last year I was heartbroken when the woman I was in love with walked away from me .
