A LITTLE MORE RELAXED

He doesn’t really ever have to work again – Chris’ Marvel role has resulted in him being worth an estimated $80 million (R1,4 billion). But he’s not resting on his laurels.

This year he starred in Lightyear, the Toy Story spin-off, and Netflix’s The Gray Man. Next year he’ll star in three movies, including AppleTV+’s Ghosted, Pain Hustlers and Red One with 2016’s sexiest man alive, Dwayne Johnson.

He’s finding a different groove now. “I’ve shed like 15 pounds,” Chris says of his post-Marvel days. “Every time people see me they’re like, ‘Are you okay? You lost a little bit of weight’. I haven’t had to hit the gym as hard.”

Being in his forties, he adds, means that these days two beers is all it takes to topple a superhero. No doubt, many would be happy to share a comforting meal and a drink or

two.
