A WISE OLD PARROT
One night a burglar breaks into a house and while he’s sneaking around he hears a voice say, “Jesus is watching you.”
He looks around and sees nothing, so he keeps creeping and again hears, “Jesus is watching you.”
In a dark corner he notices a cage with a parrot inside.
The burglar asks the parrot, “Was it you who said Jesus is watching me?” The parrot replies, “Yes.”
Relieved, the burglar asks, “What’s your name?” The parrot says, “Clarence.” So the burglar replies, “That’s a stupid name for a parrot. What idiot named you Clarence?”
The parrot answers, “The same idiot that named the rottweiler Jesus.”
