230 g but­ter 500 ml (2 c) ic­ing sugar 180 ml (¾ c) co­coa pow­der 5 ml (1 t) vanilla essence

1 Beat the but­ter un­til soft. Add the sugar, co­coa, essence and beat un­til light and fluffy.

2 Add a lit­tle boil­ing wa­ter if the ic­ing is too stiff to spread.
