2 hard-boiled eggs, mashed with a fork 2 ta­ble­spoons home­made mayo (p301) 1 tea­spoon chopped chives 1 tea­spoon chopped dill salt and pep­per

Mix to­gether all the in­gre­di­ents and sea­son with a lit­tle salt and pep­per. In­clude some seed crack­ers in the lunch­box for dip­ping.
