I AM GOING TO INTRODUCE MY CHILD TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF BOOKS
Reading improves your child’s moral values, emotional range, spiritual wellbeing and social skills.
Children who read and those who are read to have a larger vocabulary and are more self-confident because they are able to express themselves better and think logically. They also have a better understanding of how the world around them works. Better yet, if your child is a bookworm, you will never hear them say: “I’m bored.”
Renowned author Harold Bloom once said reading makes children more interesting – to themselves and to the people around them – and it develops them as individuals. “They do not become individuals by playing video games. This can only happen by being alone reading a book,” says Harold.
